Based in cumbria we regularly travel throughout the North West of England, so can easily pop in for a chat.

We have both been in the trade for more years than we care to admit, Vicky has been selling garage equipment for the last ten years for national and independent specialists. Nick has been involved in the trade for 25 years, with independents, Nationals and Main dealers.

Manufacturers of arguably the best and most durable products of their kind, ROTARY have a range of hydraulically powered two post lifts that can deal with vehicles from 3 to 5.4 tonnes in weight.

All Rotary two post lifts use a direct, twin ram system which means that there are no ropes,chains or pulleys under load and very few moving parts. Clever column design ensures that the posts are massively strong whilst the baseless constrution reduces trip hazards and allows free movement under the vehicle.
Rotary's two post lifts are legendry for their extremely long life and very low cost of ownership. They also come with a three year parts and labour warranty.

Electro-hydraulic two-post lifts of the SP0 series can be tailored perfectly to fit the application required. Three different load-bearing capacities can be combined with up to four different column heights. There are one manual and two electronic controller versions to choice from.

ROTARY SP0A3T 2 Post 3 tonne Lift (pictured right top)

This lift, which has a 3 tonne lifting capacity, benefits from all of the exceptional features of the SP0A30M but boasts many new features. This new SP0A3T lift featurs electronic raise and lower buttons replacing the old style lowering valve for improved ease of use. Three stage extending arms replace the traditional 2 stage arms, giving improved reach and flexibility.
The lifting columns are in the form of an 'L' and designed to keep a true asymmetric shape. A feature of this model is the exceptionally narrow overall width which at 3 metres makes it ideal where bay width is limited. This has been achieved without loss of drive through width.
The SP0A3T is available in a standard or extra height version, allowing for maximum vehicle height of 3455mm and 4065mm respectively.

ROTARY SP040 + SP0A40 2 Post 4 tonne Lift (pictured right middle)
This range of lifts is available with a large range of options, it has a 4 tonne capacity and is available with a choice of arms, Asymmetric(SP0A) for large 4x4's and Symmetric(SP0) which is ideal for medium sized vans. They come with a 3 year parts and labour warranty and are available with Manual, Electronic or inbay control.
There are also four different height options on the 4 tonne lifts, other models for vehicles with very long wheel bases, Motorhones etc. on request.

ROTARY SP054 2 Post 5 tonne Lift (pictured above right lower)
In a similar fashion to the SP040 range these lifts can be personalised to your requirements. Their lifting capacity is 5400kg. They are available with Symmetric arms which are ideal for vans, these lifts are available with 3 height options the tallest having a switchoff level of 4675mm.
They are available with either manual, electronic or inbay control. Rotary manufacture other models that may be more suitable for vehicles with long wheel-bases, motorhomes etc on request.

Liftmaster Products offer a competitive range of 2 Post Lifts, we have chosen two to show on the website although more are available.


LIFTMASTER CAR LIFT - 3200kg (pictured )

The Car Lift 2 post lift is operated by two balanced hydraulic rams. It's special features include a lifting capacity of 3200kg. It's chain system is connected through the columns on a slide unit allowing free action of the carriages and giving good working height.
The carriages are synchronised by strong steel cables, and the lift also has electric safety locks. The lift features great width capacity with a space between columns of 2815, has a minimum pad height of 95mm and comes complete with pad height adaptors.Lifting time is 55 seconds while it takes 20 seconds to lower .The Liftmaster CarLift has maximum lifting height of 1800mm, it complies with ISO9001:2000 and is CE Approved.

LIFTMASTER XPR-12FD HEAVY DUTY 5443kg (pictured)

This popular heavy duty lift has an open top which eliminates overhead obstruction, it is available with wide or narrow configurations.
It has single-piece columns and a single point safety release, drop-end triple-telescopic arms provide a lower pad height giving an increased range for lifting point access.

TRADEMASTER 2 POST (pictured)

The TRADEMASTER T1035 Hydraulic 2 Post Lift is one of the most cost-effective entrants into the world of two column lifts. Rugged construction, three-stage support arms and ergonomic control allow for safe,easy and efficient operation in the garage workshop.
The Trademaster T1035 is a reasonably priced, open top, base type lift, with a 3.5 tonne lifting capacity. Main features include

LIFTS - 4 POST

We have a massive range of 4 post lifts available from our various suppliers to lift vehicles from the smallest car to the largest truck.

Most lifts can be supplied with run-on ramps for either surface or recessed mounting, recessed mounting being much more suitable for some of todays cars which have a very low ride height. The majority of MOT ramps can be fitted with play detectors for OPT OR ATL.

Some lifts are available with single phase electrics where required and we will do our best to find a suitable lift to fit an existing recess.

LIFTS - SCISSOR

Our range of scissor lifts covers models from most of our suppliers, models vary from small low profile lifts that have been designed for the service area, to lifts suitable for MOT Testing and through the vehicle range up to commercials.

Most scissor lifts can be supplied with run-on ramps for surface or recessed mounting and the majority of MOT ramps can be fitted with play detectors for OPT or ATL.

Many of these lifts are suitable or can be equiped for precision wheel alignment.

LIFTS - IN GROUND

MAHA, ROTARY, STENHOJ and STERTIL KONI supply a wide range of In-GROUND lifts which not only look good but save valuable bay space and give unobstructed access to the vehicle.

Maha's range starts with the single post ES93, 2 post models include the ZS Matop, ZS Square, ZS 94 and ZS Vario. The larger 4 post lifts being the VS Square 4 and 5.0 which are suitable for high precision wheel alignment.The range is huge so please give us a call to discuss your requirements.












LIFTS - MOBILE
A range of mobile lifts are available from various manufacturers mainly mobile low rise scissor lifts, although some single post lifts are available.

Can be easily wheeled out to wherever you want to work, whether it is inside or outside your workshop providing the flooring is suitable. It is perfect for wheel and tyre work, brake service, oil change and many of the smaller jobs where you dont require a fixed, permanent lift.

A popular scissor lift is the Bradbury H8101, it is a 2.5 tonne mobile mid raise electro hydraulic model. It has a lifting height of 930mm and is suitable for tyre and car bodyshops.

COMPRESSORS

MAXCOMPACT SCREW COMPRESSOR

The Maxcompact is a silenced and oil injected rotary screw compressor mounted on a tank that is completely preassembled and tested. It has a water proof control panel with star-delta motor starting, complete with all functional and operational safety devices. The receiver has a pressure stabilsation function and a condensate seperator, it rests on a structure that allows for easy handling. Installation is simple, position the machine, connect the air output to the air distribution network and make the electrical connection.
The maxcompact screw compressor is available in various sizes and capacities, so a unit can be supplied to fit a garages specific requirements.

MAXPLUS TANK-MOUNTED SCREW COMPRESSOR WITH DRYERS & LIFTERS

The Maxplus compressor is a completely preassembled air production and treatment plant capable of providing air free of oil and condensate. It has a silenced and oil injected rotary screw compressor and the air receiver has a base for easy handling.
Dry air is supplied using a DSX series refridgeration cycle dryer with R134a gas. It has pre and post-filtering units, the condensate is conveyed to a single point. It is available with a 340 or 500l receiver and has a wide range of models of varying capacities.

DYNAMOMETERS

MAHA's range includes the NEW MAHA Single Roller System), MAHA's Dynamometers are available for testing the power output of a large number of vehicles including High Perfomance Cars and 4WD models as well as for large commercial vehicles.

An interesting addition to the range is their Power take off Dynamometer for Tractors. The MAHA MZW 300(400bhp) and ZW 500(670HP) are new to the UK market but are already extensively used in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.

EXHAUST EXTRACTION

For our workshop Exhaust Extraction needs we team up with Auto Extract Systems(AES), they are the UK's leading independant specialists in design and installation of process fume extraction systems. AES have over 20 years experience within the fume extraction market and operate from their Head Office in Manchester.

When working in confined spaces effective collection and discharge to atmosphere of vehicle exhaust gases provides a safe and pleasant working enviroment for staff and compliance with existing Health and Safety recommendations.

Design of the correct system taking into account factors such as engine size, exhaust gas temperatures, system diversity and method of connection ensures a fully functional cost effective solution is obtained.

MOTORCYCLE EQUIPMENT

For our Motorcycle workshop equipment we work with RS, they are a completely independant company that specialises in supplying motorcycle equipment to the trade. MOT bays are a speciality along with wheel service and lifts, diagnostics have recently been added to the range.

The company is run by two enthusiasts who jointly have more than 40 years experience in the motorcycle and equipment industry, and strongly believe in the 'hands on approach' continually sourcing new and innovative products for the modern workshop that these days is a major profit centre of every business in this sector.

Being indepedant RS have the freedom to offer top quality products that are required for the very latest motorcycles that other companies around the globe manufacture. CR Garage Equipment have a number of suppliers who can all offer a range of Tyre Changers and Wheel Balancers.

STL thrives on innovation and design, having designed and installed bespoke spraying facilities for some of the largest CV and train manufacturers and repairers in the UK. Each stand alone spraybooth is tailored to the customers exact requirements and combines optimum finish quality with fast production.

High Airflows
Intelligent design means STL spraybooths achieve excellent airflows from relatively small, high performance motors, combining the ideal clean-air working enviroment with rapid production times and low running costs.

Filtration
Full roof filtration promotes even air distribution, creating the ideal clean air enviroment for spraying and promoting rapid clearance times.

Extraction
Air is extracted via a rear wall, side wall or underfloor system and filtered to EPA requirements before being ducted to atmosphere.

Lighting
Unique air-cooled pod lights offer excellent light levels without compromising roof filter area (unlike traditional corner-type lights). Complimented by optional low level lighting.

Heating
High Efficiency direct-fired or propane burners, or indirect oil-fired burners regulate spray temperatures and provide a low bake cycle.

Dimensions
All commercial vehicle spraybooths are sized to suit the needs of each custome, from an extended automotive booth to one to house an entire aircraft!

Construction
Robust assembly using double skinned steel panels with a PIR polyurethane core, providing high insulative properties to keep running costs low.

A user-friendly control panel automates temperature and bake times, with fingertip cabin pressure control and CE approved emergency shutdown. Optional PC control and diagnostics via remote office based PC or laptop.

Production Line Spraying
STL's unique design capability, coupled with the assistance of select partner companies allows us to produce fully automated conveyorised preparation and coating lines for a wide variety of products and industries.



Workbay Conversions...

STL's flexible approach to design means that we can convert an enclosed workbay into a fully functional spraybooth, complete with spray and bake cycle, for a fraction of the cost of an equivalent standalone spraybooth. All conversions are specifically designed to suit the individual requirements of each site.

Filter System
An air plenum suspended above the front of the work area creates high velocity airflow around the body of the work piece. Typically this is extracted to the rear of the workspace, although side extraction and underfloor extraction are often employed, depending on site requirements.

Air handling plant
Sized to suit the specific project requirements, we can install either a low cost recirculating system with a 10-15% fresh air bleed, or a fully specified twin-fan total-loss air handling plant. Either way, STL guarantees high performance, high efficiency and low maintenance.

Heating
We can provide direct-fired gas or propane burners, or indirect fired oil burners, to regulate spray temperatures and provide a low bake cycle.

Control panel
A user friendly, hard wired unit electronically maintains temperature and pressure.

Lighting
STL's innovative lighting systems combine excellent lighting levels with low operating costs.

Service
A team of regionally based Corgi registered engineers provides service, back up and support.
