BRADBURY MOT & ATL EQUIPMENT

CR Garage Equipment offer a large range of Bradbury ATL & MOT Bays catering for all Classes from Motorcylcles to Cars and Vans.

Upgrades for existing MOT Stations to OPT(one person testing) and ATL (automated test lane) where possible.

We offer a large range of services including advice, quotations, site surveys, drawings, advice on VOSA applications for upgrades and advice for garages not currently on the MOT Scheme.

New VOSA regulations have taken effect from 1st November 2009, there are some major changes in the amount of space needed for some of the test bays, both in length and height.
If you have previously not been able to apply for MOT testing station status or been unable to upgrade to ATL or one person testing because of the size of your building, we may now be able to help. Just give us a call to discuss if the changes benefit your situation.

ATL's - What are they?

A combination of electronically controlled or enhanced mechanical test equipment for MOT testing, providing the ability for one man operation.

KEY ADVANTAGES OF ATL's

One Man Operation - saves the cost of having a person sit in the car for approx 15 minutes while the under side inspection is carried out.

Faster Test - The ATL automatic programme will allow a faster test by running both rollers together when carrying out a brake test. The roller will automatically start when the vehicle is driven onto the rollers and will stop if the wheels lock or the vehicle is driven out of the rollers. There is probably a time saving of between 10 and 15 minutes compared to a test using the older basic equipment.

More Accurate test - The brake tester software and vehicle weighing system will calculate the pass/fail results and the Play detector will ensure all vehicles have the same standard of test.

LITECHECK2/3 Headlight aligner

Features

Bradbury headlight aligners were specifically designed to meet the 2005 VOSA specification and therefore can be used in Automated Test Lane (ATL) applications.
Litecheck2 is used for Class 1,2,3,4,5 & 7 but not HGV, Litecheck3 is used in HGV test lanes. Both models feature laser alignment not mirrors.

The megamount 301 is a heavy duty, semi-automatic tyre changer boasting a unique specification for what would normally be regarded as an entry level model

The megamount 301 has been designed for those customers that don't have room for a tilt-arm machine (or maybe just like their old swing arm!) but still need to be able to cater for modern rim and tyre assemblies. With this in mind, the megamount 301 provides a massive 24" rim clamping capacity, necessary for handling alloys up to 22" diameter, an oversized 'racing' chassis, and the inclusion of the 'megafit' robotic arm and bead press system essential for making light work of stiff, low profile tyres.

The megaspin 200 is a motorised wheel balancer utilising low speed technology to eliminate the need for a wheel guard, making it an excellent solution for workshops where space is at a premium.
