It comes with a 4000kg Brake Tester, 2.8 tonne TradeMaster Jacking Beam, Headlamp tester and the T800 Gas Analyser. ![]() Trademaster T4600 Headlamp TesterThe new Trademaster T4600 series of headlamp testing machines are technically advanced, easy to use and set the standard for this type of equipment, they are approved for use in an MOT or ATL installation and conform to VOSA's '2005 Specification'.The stylish and ergonomic design is not only durable , reliable and stable but the quality build of the T4600 range enable unparalleled performance for garages and MOT test stations, especially when assesing or setting both car and CV headlamps and represents outstanding value for money. Advanced Fresnel lens Key to the T4600 performance is the Fresnel lens, which collects maximum light and provides a high quality image on the screen, it also permits a wide focusing range of 200mm to 800mm and is lighter and less prone to damage than a traditional glass lens. New Generation linear laser Aligning the headlamp tester optical head to the vehicle drive line, is a vital requirement for accurate headlamp assessment and setting. By using the new generation 'linear laser', the T4600 laser projects a bright red light beam onto the vehicle, which can be easily inspected for positioning. Balanced Optical Head An internal counterweight allows the optical head to be moved on the column with ease making positioning simple. Advanced Electronic versions The advanced electronic models have a sensing system surrounding the lens that optimises the position of the optical head in front of the vehicle headlamp. Guidance on movement of the tester head is displayed on an LCD read-out. A unique and patented sensor array on the measurement screen provides information to the LCD display illustrating headlamp beam angle as an actual percentage to two decimal places. The sensors are extremely accurate and very sensitive, although regulations do 'not yet' allow this type of technique to be used for assessment during an MOT test, it can be employed very effectively when setting a headlamp, since it helps remove operator 'guesswork'. The sensors also provide graphical information about beam brightness and glare and main beam and fog lamps can also be checked and set. Printer Conectivity The T4610 and T4610C can download data to a computer to allow printing, or be supplied with Bluetooth connectivity to a suitable printer. ![]() The two pictures to the right show close up of the older style Rotary shaker plates, these shaker plates can be retro fitted to most Class 4 & 7 Rotary MOT lifts, they are bolted on to the front of the platforms as shown in the photos. We offer a large range of services including advice, quotations, site surveys, drawings, advice on VOSA applications for upgrades and advice for garages not currently on the MOT Scheme. New VOSA regulations have taken effect from 1st November 2009, there are some major changes in the amount of space needed for some of the test bays, both in length and height. If you have previously not been able to apply for MOT testing station status or been unable to upgrade to ATL or one person testing because of the size of your building, we may now be able to help. Just give us a call to discuss if the changes benefit your situation. ATL's - What are they? A combination of electronically controlled or enhanced mechanical test equipment for MOT testing, providing the ability for one man operation. KEY ADVANTAGES OF ATL's One Man Operation - saves the cost of having a person sit in the car for approx 15 minutes while the under side inspection is carried out. Faster Test - The ATL automatic programme will allow a faster test by running both rollers together when carrying out a brake test. The roller will automatically start when the vehicle is driven onto the rollers and will stop if the wheels lock or the vehicle is driven out of the rollers. There is probably a time saving of between 10 and 15 minutes compared to a test using the older basic equipment. More Accurate test - The brake tester software and vehicle weighing system will calculate the pass/fail results and the Play detector will ensure all vehicles have the same standard of test.
